Thorgan Hazard makes permanent switch from Chelsea to Borussia Moenchengladbach.
The younger brother of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has left the Premier League club and joined German team Borussia Moenchengladbach.
The 21-year-old Thorgan Hazard didn't play a competitive match for Chelsea after signing in 2012 from French club Lens - in the same summer as Eden joined from another French club, Lille.
Thorgan Hazard spent two full seasons on loan at Zulte Waregem, in his native Belgium, and has been on loan at Moenchengladbach this season.
German media are reporting that Hazard has moved for a fee of 8 million euros ($9 million).
Chelsea said they had the right to exercise a future buy-back option on Hazard

On 24 July 2012, Chelsea confirmed on its website that the club had agreed terms with Lens for the transfer of Hazard, soon after the signing of his brother Eden from Lille.
He made his debut on 17 August 2012 in an Under-21 Premier League match, which ended in a 0–0 home draw against Manchester City in what was to be his only appearence in Chelsea colours before leaving the club. On 30 August 2012, Hazard was sent on a season-long loan move to Belgian Pro League club Zulte Waregem. The move was set up to allow him first-team experience rather than be developed slowly by Chelsea.
