Van Gaal :Di Maria need to adapt to Premier League style of play
Manchester United coach Luis Van Gaal believes United most expensive player Angel Di Maria need to adapt to Premier League style of play he said the tempo of the game in England is more higher than any other countries.
''The difficulty, not only with Angel, is that the players have to adapt to the Premier League. And I have explained already the rhythm of the game is very high, higher than in other countries and he has to adapt to the culture, so we have to give him time to adapt, and also to lift his confidence again. He is also a human being like me and like you, and you can make mistakes, but he is a top supporter, so he will overcome this period I hope." ~ Van Gaal
Manchester United Coach spoke about their win against Sunderland after they lost to Swansea last weekend,Rooney brace help Manchester United gain three point as they beat Sunderland 2 - 0 at Old Trafford.
"I think we started not so good the first quarter of the game, very nervous perhaps because of the loss against Swansea, but after the first quarter we came into the match, we created chances and didn't give chances away anymore and in the second half we played very well, we switched the play via the wings and created a lot of chances, scored goals, so I was very happy." ~ Van Gaal
Sunderland manager Gus Poyet spoke about referee Roger East who sent out the wrong player
"If a referee tells you something that doesn't happen then you try to tell him that didn't happen, he said he gave the penalty for foul by Wes Brown, so you go and tell him what happened as Brown was not even involved, so how can you give a penalty for something that didn't happen." ~ Gus Poyet
"The ones that are checking on the referees always go their way (back them up), we are human beings and make a decision today. I didn't change early enough and that was my decision and that was my mistake, so I don't hide, and at the moment they are hiding a little bit."~ Gus Poyet added
