Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc wants his team to focus on
domestic duties rather than the UEFA Champions League at the moment as
he spoke in Paris, France ahead of his team's
Coupe de France match against Monaco.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc is worried about his team's potency in front of goal - but not about the number of created opportunities.
"We are creating a lot of chances and, with the players we have, if we keep on creating opportunities to score, we won't be so inefficient in attack."
PSG are still troubled with a considerable number of injured and suspended players and is considering rotating his team.
But the coach is hoping that some of his players will be back for the Champions League match against Chelsea next week
"The medical staff are doing everything in order to bring back injured players, to allow us to recuperate some players for the matches we play before Chelsea - and why not - for the match we play against Chelsea (as well)."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still suspended for the next game against Monaco.
But the Swedish striker will be able to play in the Ligue 1 fixture against Lens on Saturday (7th March) before the Champions League tie against Chelsea.
