Mikel Arteta : work hard and get the job done
Arsenal will be the overwhelming favourites when they take on second
tier Reading in the English FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley on Saturday.
The current holders have won the tournament eleven times, while Reading are aiming to reach their first ever final.
Mikel Arteta called on his teammates to "work hard and get the job done early" against the Championship side.
Arsenal go into the game on the back of an eight-match winning run in the English Premier League, which has seen them up move up to second.
Arteta, who has been out since January with an ankle injury, has been impressed with how Arsenal have performed in his absence.
"We really believe that we can beat any team and we have a little bit of the arrogance that sometimes you need before a game, when you are sure if you do the right things we are going to win it. I think we've got the best squad we've had for years," he said at a press conference.
The club captain wouldn't rule out an unlikely double as they chase Chelsea, who have a seven-point advantage at the top of the table.
"You never know in football, three months ago to be in the top four was a big achievement, now it's not good enough. So that's changing every two weeks, but I think the next two weeks will determine where we really are and what we can do in the next five weeks," Arteta commented.
