Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wins GQ award

After making his way into the Guinness Book of World Record earlier this month, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was the recipient of another award as he won the Editor’s Special Award at the GQ Men of the Year gala on Tuesday.

The event which was attended by a number of stars in the world of sport was hosted by Hollywood superstar Samuel L. Jackson.

The Chelsea manager was joined on the red carpet by his daughter, Matilde, and the pair turned heads as they entered the event, with the Blues boss cutting a smart figure in a tailored suit accompanied by a bow tie, and his eldest child wearing a chic black dress.

Mourinho will however be more focused on turning Chelsea fortunes around on he pitch of play as the face Everton over the weekend.

The champions have had a tough start to the new season and sit in 13th position on the log, 8 points adrift of high flying Manchester City.
