Official:Andre Gomes signs for Barcelona

 Portuguese midfielder, Andre Gomes said that his way of playing and personality  match with Barcelona style, during his official presentation as a new player in Barcelona today.

The 22 years old, told a news conference after signing for the Catalan club, that "coping with the philosophy of Barca is the most important thing for him.

He continued, "I want to continue my development and learning; there are many players here. I am a nearly 23-year-old, I have the time to become a better player. This is what I wish".

The Department of professional sports club, Albert Soler, said that Barca's budget for contracts during this season were not ready to join the Portuguese defender, but he has been doing this step because it represents "an important opportunity to sporting level."

 Sporting director of Barcelona,Roberto Fernandez, said that the club has been following the midfielder for some time, pointing out that he enjoys a wide margin of progress.

On the reason for choosing Barcelona, although he has received offers from different clubs such as Real Madrid, he said that it was up to "a personal decision and the philosophy of the club," which are in line with my style of play.

Gomes was a diplomat when he responded to a question about who prefer more of the strikers Lionel Messi, his colleague at the Catalan club, Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese team-mate.

The defender said that "Cristiano and Messi are great players too. However, the most important time now is Messi and Barcelona .. I have a passion to enjoy it. "
