Everton's midweek 1-1 draw against Hull City sees them in 11th place going into their Premier League game at Manchester City on Saturday (6th December).

Second-placed Manchester City were impressive 4-1 winners at Sunderland, as Sergio Aguero scored twice in a man-of-the-match performance.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez described Aguero as a "phenomenal talent"  and feels City "could be one of the hardest teams to face in the Premier League, alongside Chelsea, without a doubt."

Everton has only won a match in the last five EPL games played but manger Roberto Martinez believe it the performance of his team that matter because statistics may be confusing.

"No, the truth is we want to win every game, we don't shy away from that. I think it's important to look at the performances and how that ends up in the results that we had. Stats are a little bit confusing, I could the same way say that we only lost one in the last ten. So I wouldn't be too relaxed or just saying that we only lost one in ten, in the same way I wouldn't be too concerned looking at the way you are looking at." ~ Martinez

Everton manager Roberto Martinez rated Manchester City super striker Sergio Aguero high he said the Argentine player can single-handedly  win match for City.

"He's a phenomenal talent, I think he is one of those players in the league now, that he can single-handedly win a game. You get the odd player from season to season, they can reach that sort of form and I think Sergio Aguero is in that level at the moment." ~ Roberto Martinez

41 years old manager Roberto Martinez said Chelsea and Manchester City are the hardest teams to play against in the English Premier League.
"I think City now are playing the best football of this campaign, I think they found a real good feeling about themselves, probably within the game against Bayern Munich, from the early stages to the way they finished the game, you saw a real change in the confidence of the group and clearly since that day they've been playing with a real flair and swagger and at the moment they could be one of the hardest teams to face in the Premier League, alongside Chelsea, without a doubt." ~ Martinez added
